Mikhail Bushkov was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He graduated from Rostov State University with a degree in applied mathematics, but later developed passion towards photography and filmmaking and took part in several workshops and residencies while also being a student of Magnum photographer, Alex Majoli. Currently Mikhail lives and works in Zürich, Switzerland. He combines photography with working in IT.
